An insane news topic broke today
Xbox is doing a massive re-organizing of its new aquisition in Activision including firing over 1900 employees
Then to follow it up they are terminating their XBOX Physical Media product with plans to remove literally everyone in the department
Losing Physical Media is a big deal
As a long time avoider of XBOX, i specifically avoided them because they pulled this during the XBOX One era and it backfired on them costing them the entire generation
Even proceeding into the next gen of consoles people still don't trust XBOX / Microsoft and it would appear to be with just cause
